SALVATION INTERNATIONAL PREPARATORY SCHOOLS is a Government Approved Educational Institution established in 1998 under the distinguished direction and leadership of God through his daughter and servant – Evangelist (Mrs) Olaide Adebimpe Toyinbo JP and located in Benin City, Edo State.
In the year 1997, the vision to start a school, aimed at transforming the lives of children with the Word of God and Sound impartation of knowledge was given to the President and Proprietress of the school. This vision was materialised on Tuesday, March 10th, 2014 at 30 Oko/Ogba road when ‘Salvation Group of Schools’ was formerly established and inaugurated. It begun with just 2 pupils, who were in fact the Proprietress’ children! Soon, more parents began to register their children and before long, there were hundreds of pupils in school.
In year 2000, the secondary arm of the school was established and before long, was filled with students from within and around Edo State. A boarding house was also started to accommodate students and pupils whose parents desired an even more personalised touch and attention for their children and wards.
In the year 2010, there was a vision to rebrand Salvation Group of Schools into an institution with international standard, fully engaged in international best practices. This was materialised in year 2012 with the change of name from ‘Salvation Group of Schools’ to SALVATION INTERNATIONAL PREPARATORY SCHOOLS. This rebranding brought about a change not only in the name, but also in our colour scheme (from ‘Blue and White’ to ‘Army Green and Cream’), School Uniform Design and even our Modus Operandi.
Over the years, we have achieved a 94% Success in terms of rate of admission of our Senior Secondary School graduates into Tertiary Institutions. The very first official Senior Secondary Set who graduated in 2006 have all graduated from Universities in flying colours. One of them graduated from the University of London with a First Class Degree in Biomedical Sciences while another graduated from the Bradford College with a Masters Degree in Leadership and Management in Education. He is now the Director of the School.
The School has grown in vision, mission, height and bounds and with us on God’s side and an army of diligent and dedicated staff be rest assured that the future can only get brighter, bigger and better.
