WHEN WAS SIPS ESTABLISHED?
SIPS was conceived under the Divine ministration of God to our BIG MUMMY (Evangelist O. A. Toyinbo JP) in 1997. It however came to lime light on the 10th of March 1998) under the name – Salvation Group of Schools.

WHAT IS THE FULL MEANING OF SIPS?
The full meaning of SIPS is Salvation International Preparatory Schools. It was formerly Salvation Group of Schools (SGS) but under resent re-branding scheme, the name has been changed to that originally approved by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) which is SIPS.

I HEARD IT WAS SGS BEFORE?
Yes! We started our re-branding scheme in 2012 and in the process we also changed the name to Salvation International Preparatory Schools (SIPS).

WHY THE RE-BRANDING?
We began the re-branding project to upgrade all our systems, both Infrastructural and Academical. Right now, heavy work has begun on the school premises as we have started major infrastructural overhauling! Also, modern and up-to-date apparatus have been acquired for all our laboratories, including Computer, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science and Home Economics laboratories respectively. All these efforts are been performed in a bid to upgrading our ‘New’ School to International Standard and giving our Pupil, Students and Staff the best!

WHAT IS SIPS MOTTO?
Our motto is “the Word and Knowledge”.

WHO IS THE HEAD-TEACHER?
Our Head Teacher who is also our President/Proprietress is no other than ‘Big Mummy’ – Evangelist (Mrs) O. A. Toyinbo (JP).

WHAT YEAR CAN MY CHILD START SCHOOLING?
At SIPS, we have a Pre-Nursery class were toddlers are taken care of and adequately tended to. Your child can resume with us from the age of 12 months (1 year).

CAN A MUSLIM ATTEND YOUR SCHOOL?
Sure! At SIPS, we do not discriminate as far as the person is human. Before the sight of God, we are all His children. However, been that SIPS is a Christian Mission School, any Muslim or individual of other religious background wishing to attend SIPS must be ready to adhere to our religious policies and fully partake in related activities such as coming out for the ‘Morning Assembly’, Participating in the weekly Worship (on Wednesdays) and any other activity management deems important for the general student body.

DO YOU DO PRACTICALS?
YES! We do not toil with practical, especially in subjects with relations to science and technology. These include Computer Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science and Home Economics. We have state-of-the-art ultra modern laboratories that possess all the equipment and apparatus needed by our students and pupils to fully grasp the practical aspects of any of the above listed subjects.

DO YOU HAVE SCHOLARSHIPS?
YES! The Sarah Abebi Ashiru Memorial Scholarship (SAAMS) was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees – Pastor T. A. Toyinbo. SAAMS is a scholarship programme that is given only to the student or pupil who performs the best in academics. The scholarship takes care of ‘Tuition fees’ of that student or pupil for the next academic term. It was inaugurated by the Chairman to encourage our students and pupils to pay apt attention to their academics and perform excellently.

WHY DOES MANAGEMENT NOT GIVE ADDITIONAL GRACE TO LATE COMERS?
Late coming has been a major issue bogging the education system in Nigeria and indeed this seemingly minute act of indiscipline when let loose will completely ruin any nation. We are bringing up our students and pupils at SIPS to be future world leaders par excellence. Hence any act of indiscipline will never be condoned, including late coming. This is just to ensure and secure a better future for our children, our parents, our state, and indeed the nation – Nigeria at large!

WHY SHOULD I BRING MY CHILD/WARD TO YOUR SCHOOL?
Salvation International Preparatory Schools is a School established by the supernatural mandate of the Almighty God to reform and transform the lives of children. In our over fourteen years of existence, we have never had a better last year. It’s all testimonies and recommendations and the school has been catapulted even to international heights.
